Blurb:

After being dumped by his long-term boyfriend for being overweight, Henry Beckett decides to make some drastic changes. In a vain attempt at getting his boyfriend back, Henry does the most absurdly frightening thing he can think of.

He joins a gym.

Reed Henske is a personal trainer who isn't sure he'll ever be ready to date again. He's sick of guys who are only interested in the perfect body image, never seeing him for who he really is.

As Reed tortures Henry with things like diet and exercise, Henry enamors Reed with recipes and laughter. As the friendship lines start to blur, Henry is convinced there's no way Thor-like Reed could ever be interested in a guy like him.

Reed just has to convince Henry that life isn't about reaching your ideal bodyweight. It's about finding your perfect counterweight.

Contains mature themes.

My review:

Holy hell! How I missed this book!

I read it 3 years ago, and it was one of my first into the m/m genre and reading english books on a day to day basis. And I LOVED this book back then, and it was so good to be back with Henry and Reed again.

This book is hilarious. So perfect on every level. I laughed many times, the narrator did an amazing job - I love Joel Leslie's voice!. Henry and Reed are so cute together and I love their story. Henry is so funny and Reed just too perfect for everyone.

I loved it so much I listened it 2 times. Finished and started again. I just couldn't say goodbye them, and I think I'll listen to it some in the near future.

I've got this ARC copy from the author and I can't thank you enough for this! I didn't know how I missed this book and so many memories came with it. I'm just the happiest right now.

I want to be Henry - I want to be as funny and as confident as he is. And I want a friend like Reed.
I loved this book so so much.

Highly recommend this book both in audio and in ebook format! So cool!
