Blurb:

Ansel has a thing for older men.

Specifically his friend’s father Daniel, a penguin shifter who is surprisingly innocent for a forty-seven-year-old man. Ansel probably shouldn’t flirt with Daniel. Or go on a date with him. Or send him photos that Daniel claims are “irresponsible.” But Daniel’s so cute when he blushes, and it’s just a bit of fun. Ansel’s learned that men only want one thing from him, and then they’re gone.

But Daniel doesn’t leave.

In fact, Daniel wants nothing more than to love and take care of Ansel. But Daniel is an omega, just like Ansel, and in polar bear shifter culture a “blood-bond” can only exist between two people who have a child that is genetically related to both of them. If he asks Ansel to be his mate, will he be able to make Ansel happy? Or will he be just one more guy who asks Ansel to settle for less than what he truly wants?

My review:

Oh my sweet, sweet Ansel! I love you more then anything, and this book was perfect. Perfect for you and perfect for me.

Ansel is the cutes and loveliest person ever and he deserves the best! And Daniel knows it too. But Daniel desereves the best too, and Ansel know that too! Both scared, but both wants the same.

They are perfect for each other and I loved their romance. They were cute and hot. I thought I got more sass from Ansel and more questioning and more uncertainity from Daniel. I think they weren't the same person I met in the previous book, but I loved it nonetheless.

And I wanted more shifting! It wasn't enough! I wanted to cuddle with Ansel in polar bear form and with Daniel in penguin. But thos cuddle sessions were cute without the shifting too, so it was awesome.

Loved the dynamic between them and loved how they loved each other and how eager they were for a perfect future. They deserve the best!

Ansel's heat was cute. Daniel was thoughtful with all those little things, I just awwww-d while reading that scene. So cute!
And loved Ansel while nesting♥

And the mermen from the other series - finally the connection between the two series! And the magic, aww. Loved it!

I really enjoyed this book, I wanted Ansel and Daniel's story like air. I think I wanted it so bad that I had high hopes. Between the two books, my favorite is still the first one. But the cover is devinitely bettet in this case, becasue daaaamn, it's so perfect! Perfectly just how I imagined Ansel! And Daniel is a hot Daddy!♥

An Egg for Ansel is a second-chance age gap romance with plenty of lace, cuddling, and MPreg of the penguin egg variety. It’s the second book in the Alaskan Pebble Gifters series, and will only make sense if you’ve read the first book.
