One moment in time, one unfortunate accident, and Grayson Brooks’ life changed forever. Not only is he suffering physically, but as each day passes, he’s convinced he’s losing his mind. Terrorized by each passing minute, fighting to get back on track, Grayson only succeeds in slipping further into the clutches of his anxiety. He’s convinced time will heal all wounds. But time is his enemy. There is no escape.
Beckett O’Keefe has known Grayson all his life. Best friends to the end, he’s determined to help Grayson recover from his accident. Taking Grayson under his roof while his physical injuries heal seemed like a good idea at the time. But every day, Grayson slips further out of reach, and Beckett struggles to understand what haunts his friend’s mind.
To make matters worse, their close proximity has brought on feelings Beckett can’t understand. Beckett is straight… or so he thought. The heart says one thing. The mind says another. Has Beckett spent thirty years in the dark? Could he be falling for his best friend? Except, Grayson is only a shadow of the man he once was. If Beckett can’t help Grayson get back on track, there may be no future.
My review:
I love the Trials of Fear series, every book is unique and awesome.
Lost in a Moment was a good book too, but i missed something. It was like "oh yeah i have like thousand questions and damn only 2-3 chapter left?!".
The story was good, really good! I loved the characters and their storyline. Friends to lovers and gay for you?! Count me in!
So yeah, the story and the characters were amazing, but... but! The phobia wasn't the best for me. It wasn't good enough. The fear from time.
I am confused, because Grayson and the phobia was well written and i loved reading it, but as I said earlier, i had thousand questions... The book had ended so abruptly, it was like a cliffhanger but don't. Like some magic, and all the sadness and problemes are gone and everyone happy and in love.
I need 50-100 more pages.
I loved Grayson and Beck's relationship, it was really a slow burn, because of Beck's orientation, buti wasn't complaining at all while reading it. Beck was cute and he was a really good friend for Gray. They were lovely together and i loved reading about their story.
So yeah, it was really good, but it is not my favorite from the series. But i really recommend it! And oh my GOD i can't wait for the next book! That cover, aww! And i am curios about the phobia too!
