Blurb:

His world was water and rhythm. Hard work and drive kept Royal O'Connell one step ahead of his competition. His spot on the swim team, keeping his scholarship, was the only plan that mattered.

His world was ebony and ivory. Natural talent and ambition set Camden Morgan apart from the other music majors. His dedication scoring him a full ride.

Normally, their paths would have never crossed….

But when Royal meets his best friend's new roommate, his big plan and Camden’s controlled environment faces a variable that could destroy it all.

Attraction.

The world they live in had no room for error. That undeniable pull between them was dangerous and neither one of them could've prepared for the choice they'd have to make.

Love isn't always an easy road and, when everything they've worked for is on the line, they'll have to decide if being together is worth the risk.

My review:

First of all, thanks for the chance to read an ARC copy!

This book was special, i loved reading it. I love a story with music especially with piano, it's one of my weakness, and it was beautiful.

"...he was the song I never wanted to stop listening to."

Camden's character was beautiful! And Royal was really the light, i need someone like Royal in my life because i am so much like Camden.

"Nobody wants to be alone" I did. And I didn't. I didn't know how to be anything but alone.

It was the most beautiful first love. Everything they did together was special, the love between them was unique, and both of them was lovely and cute.

"Camden had become the air I needed to breathe, the pulse I needed to get through the day."

The story was good, the boys were cute, but something is missing... i don't know what, but i felt it the whole time while i was reading it. The big moments was fast and i couldn't enjoy it enough, and the ending was fast too, i was like wtf, where are the pages i need more.

"And like I was the planet and he was the sun, I needed his heat to survive this, to remember to keep moving. Time would not stand still, and those dark hallways inside my head would see the daylight again. Because of him. My golden light."

Cute first love story with lovely characters, i liked it, but i'm not sure i'll read the next book - Indie and Kai - because it's mf, but who knows?! :)) This was good, Camden and Royal's story will be staying with me forever, it wasn't perfect and wasn't my favorite read, but it was good, special and unique.
