It’s a time for searching, and a time for finding, Pisces: keep casting your line and you will hook what you’re looking for.
Zane has it all planned out: land the perfect Meet Cute, fall in love, and live happily ever after.
Should be simple enough if he put his mind to it. A little creativity and some thinking outside of the box, and voila, he’d be married to the woman of his dreams.
It would be perfect.
And it would be before his visa ran out.
But why are his feelings running wild now that the pressure’s on? Why is his picture-perfect plan turning into a muddled mess of morphed metaphors he can’t make sense of anymore?
Just as well he’s met an English professor to help. And even though their first meet is anything but cute, this down-to-earth teacher may just be the realist Zane needs to ground him and give him a shot at love after all.
Don’t cast your line too wide, Pisces. Your perfect catch may already have bitten.
My review:
It was my very first Anyta Sunday book although i wanted to read from her like forever, but i am happy to finally knew her writing. Pisces Hook Taurus was a hilarious read. It was funny, cute and lovely. I love when a character has humor and Zane and Becky both had it! I loved reading their conversations it was full with brove/love, they were kind and cute and the tension between them was so good!
"Zane Penn was horny for three things in life; his art, pecan nuts, and romance."
The book was slow burn, like really really slow, the first kiss was at 60-70%, but i didn't care, because the relationship was so good, i could read about them forever!
"His dreamm? To be a tangled heap of nose-bumping spaghetti bolognaise and meatballs with someone."
I loved the way Zane had changed, and Becky was sooooo good. It was cute that Zane thought he was straight and was searching for his happily ever after with a girl, but it was obvious that Zane and Becky were meant to be together! They didn't have a chance to avoid the LOVE.
"Intelligent and cheeky. I brove you already"
"Brove?"
"Bro and romance. Bromance. Bro and love. Brove, right?"
I loved it so much and i want to read more Anyta Sunday, she writes so good and i love when a book is funny and cute.
Thanks for the chance to read an ARC copy, it was really good, i highly recommend it!

The book contains slow-burn, friends-to-lovers, funny conversations and cute characters, a hot gay English teacher and the funniest Kiwi drawing artist who thinks he's gonna live happily ever after with a girl by his side...but how wrong he is!
