Adam Mulvaney lives a double life. By day, he’s the spoiled youngest son of an eccentric billionaire. By night, he’s an unrepentant killer, one of seven psychopaths raised to right the wrongs of a justice system that keeps failing.

Noah Holt has spent years dreaming of vengeance for the death of his father, but when faced with his killer, he learns a daunting truth he can’t escape. His father was a monster.

Unable to ignore his own surfacing memories, Noah embarks on a quest to find the truth about his childhood with the help of an unlikely ally: the very person who murdered his father. Since their confrontation, Adam is obsessed with Noah, and he wants to help him uncover the answers he seeks, however dark they may be.

The two share a mutual attraction, but deep down, Noah knows Adam’s not like other boys. Adam can’t love. He wasn’t born that way. But he refuses to let Noah go, and Noah’s not sure he wants him to.
Can Adam prove to Noah that passion, power, and protection are just as good as love?

My review:

"Are you secretly a Cullen? You have vampire teeth. Is that why you're so pretty?"

My first thought when reading this book - OMG it's like the Umbrella Academy, but everyone is a pscychopath killer.

Enjoyed reading the book, love this family of killers part and can't wait to read about the others.

Adam who is sweet but psycho, ahh! He was too sweet for this book and too cute to be a psychopath and a killer (and that's my only problem with the book, I hoped for a really great killer psychopath, but instead I got a marshmallow, ahhahaha)

"Adam was the worst, a bad guy who did bad things to bad people for good reasons."

It's mostly a sweet romance, so if you're afraid of the killing scenes, don't be, there's only one at the end and that wasn't disturbing at all either.

Loved Noah and Adam's relationship and loved that Adam went against his family and put Noah in the first place.

"He could only protect him and spoil him and give him lots of pancakes and orgasms. He hoped that was enough."

Falling for your father's killer? Bring it on.

Ps. the whole investigation was really interesting, I enjoyed reading it and they were really well written. I'm glad we only got to read the surface of this child-porno situation, it was hurtful enough to realize Noah got memories too...

It was an enjoyable and sweet romance. Can't wait to read more. Oh and I want daddy Thomas's book!!!!
