If Fifty Shades of Grey and Dear Evan Hansen got together to watch Bambi, you would have Fawned - an “enDEERing” erotic romance about two lonely college students experimenting with petplay for the first time

Barnaby Hirsch isn't one to put himself out there - he's shy and, admittedly, awkward - but desperate times call for desperate measures. When he signs up for a dating app, the last person he expects to match with is the campus' gay playboy, Gil Connolly.

It should have been a one-night stand, but it’s one night Barnaby can’t forget. It’s the closest he’s ever felt to someone, the closest he’s ever felt to belonging.

Gil wants someone to belong to him. He has a collar, and he wants someone to wear it.

Barnaby has a deer onesie, and he’s starting to think, maybe, the two might look good together.

My review:

I am so, so happy that I had a chance to read this amazing book! It was everything, I loved from the first page to the last. I just couldn't put it down and enjoyed every minute of it.

The cover art is really great and it's just perfect for this book. Barnaby, the virgin, shy and fat gay boy - loved him! His character was so well written. And Gil, the playboy who likes to play dirty and is sex positive. I loved Gil too, and he was such a surprise. His soul was so beautiful and I was glad that neither boy were boring and flat characters, they both had depth in them and they both suffered from different kind of mental illesses. They were imperfectly perfect for each other, and I loved every minute of their relaionship.

The pet play - deer play - OMG so, so good! Gil was such a great Master and Barnaby was so adorable in his deer persona. It was so well written. Emotional in every aspect of the story.

My favorite thing aside from the pet play, the fact that Gil LOVED that Barnaby was fat, and those scenes when he fed him, wow, I need more like that!

It was a really emotional and romantic book.

Highly recommend it! New favorite!
