For years Grant Kessler has smuggled goods from one end of the world to the next. When business turns in a direction Grant isn’t willing to follow he decides to retire and by all appearances he settles down in a nowhere town called Durstrand. But his real plan is to wait a few years and let the FBI lose interest, then move on to the distant coastal life he’s always dreamed of.

Severely autistic, Morgan cannot look people in the eye, tell left from right, and has uncontrolled tics. Yet he’s beaten every obstacle life has thrown his way. And when Grant Kessler moves into town Morgan isn’t a bit shy in letting the man know how much he wants him.

While the attraction is mutual, Grant pushes Morgan away. Like the rest of the world he can’t see past Morgan’s odd behaviors

Then Morgan shows Grant how light lets you see but it also leaves you blind. And once Grant opens his eyes, he loses his heart to the beautiful enigma of a man who changes the course of his life.

My review:

Once upon a time there was a reader who loved reading *crazy thing, I know... :D*. This reader contacted the author to tell her how much she LOVED one of her books. And this reader got the bestest gif ever - a recommendation to one of the author another book. And a chance to read said book for free.
I said, best! Gift! Ever!

As known, I never - ever read the blurb. But there was one word my eyes caught in the blurb - autism. I am such a sucker for mental health books, one of my top favorite trope - and if well written - pfewwww! I have no words for this book!

No! Words!!!!

This book was so good. I laughed so hard and so many times. And i mean I laughed out LOUD! Morgan was the most amazing person i've ever met in a book. I loved his humor and the way he saw the world. Oh my god he was so funny and I loved how he joked around with Grant. LOL. And Grant! *sigh* loved, loved, looooveed everything about him. How hard and gentle he was, how perfect with and to Morgan.

Guys, this book! Really! Everyone need to read this! I thought Complementary Colors was perfect, but this... i can not choose between them, i love both the same. And now i'm in the long haul with Adrienne Wilder, so give me all the books!!! (and time too, thanks)

I can't remember the last book i enjoyed this much, i mean i laughed in every 5 seconds. It was good and perfect, and so real! And that ending tho- i thought everything is perfect then boomm, not. But it was my fault, I didn't recognized i had more chapters to read, and not to celebrate before the real end.
But then at the very end, awwww it was really perfection! I've cried like a baby♥ So beautiful!

Highly recommend it!

And damn give me the next book! I need Jeff's story♥
